Blue Power Technology project preview.

Blue Power Technology is a company profile website for an Indonesian IT solutions provider. The project was a revamp of an older coded website into a new WordPress-based implementation, making it easier for the internal team to manage content, pages, and future updates.

The website presents BPT as an IT partner with solution areas such as Cloud, Security, Platform, Infrastructure, OFIS, and SCOPS, supported by company information, technology alliances, services, news, and lead-generation forms.

Overview

This was a migration and revamp project rather than a simple visual refresh. The old website was built with custom code, while the new version was rebuilt on WordPress to improve maintainability and content management.

The design direction came through the agency workflow, then I handled the development implementation and WordPress setup. The project also included a final security testing phase with an external vendor.

Problem

The previous website was harder to maintain because it depended on a coded setup that was less convenient for ongoing content updates. For a company profile site with solutions, products, services, news, and contact forms, the client needed a more manageable CMS-based system.

The goal was to rebuild the website in WordPress while preserving the company profile purpose, improving maintainability, and preparing the site for security review before handoff.

Role

I worked on the development side of the revamp, translating the approved design into a WordPress website and setting up the technical structure needed for the company profile.

My responsibilities included WordPress implementation, page structure, content integration, plugin setup, optimization, and supporting the security testing process with the external vendor.

Stack

  • WordPress for content management
  • PHP and MySQL for the WordPress backend
  • JavaScript for interactive frontend behavior
  • WordPress plugins for CMS and form requirements
  • External vendor support for security testing

Scope

  • Rebuild the old coded website into WordPress
  • Implement the redesigned company profile pages
  • Structure solution, service, product, news, and contact content
  • Prepare the site for easier content updates by the client or internal team
  • Optimize the WordPress setup where possible
  • Support final security testing with an external vendor
  • Resolve findings related to the website implementation

Website Structure

The website is structured around BPT’s main business areas:

  • Company profile and about page
  • Solution pages for OFIS, SCOPS, Cloud, Security, Platform, and Infrastructure
  • Technology alliances
  • Services
  • News and blog content
  • Contact and inquiry forms

This structure makes the site work both as a corporate profile and as a lead-generation channel for business inquiries.

Implementation Notes

The main technical shift was moving from a coded website to WordPress. That meant the final implementation needed to balance frontend fidelity, CMS flexibility, and operational maintainability.

Because this is a corporate website for an IT solutions company, security was also an important part of the handoff. The project included testing with a vendor, and implementation-related findings were addressed before completion.

Outcome

The result was a refreshed WordPress company profile website that is easier to manage, better aligned with the updated brand direction, and supported by security testing before handoff.

This project reflects a common agency scenario: migrating an existing corporate website into a CMS, implementing a new design, supporting content-heavy pages, and making sure the result is maintainable for the client after delivery.
