InkPrint is a digital printing website that started as a product catalog and was later revamped into a WooCommerce-powered e-commerce platform. Before the revamp, the website mainly presented printing products as catalog items. After the development work, the website supported online ordering, cart flows, product pricing, and payment-ready commerce behavior.
Overview
The website serves customers who want to browse and order printing products such as stickers, banners, ID cards, acrylic products, packaging, merchandise, stationery, and other print materials. The revamp focused on turning a static catalog-like experience into a more complete transaction flow.
Problem
The existing website had product information, but it did not fully support the business as an e-commerce channel. Users could browse products, but the product catalog needed to become more useful for buying decisions, checkout, and online payment handling.
Role
I handled the development side of the revamp, working on the WordPress and WooCommerce implementation. The work focused on improving product structure, enabling commerce flows, and making the catalog usable as an online ordering experience.
Stack
- WordPress
- WooCommerce
- PHP
- JavaScript
- HTML
- CSS
Scope
- Revamped the existing website from a product catalog into an e-commerce website.
- Configured WooCommerce for product listing, cart, checkout, and order flows.
- Organized product categories for different printing services.
- Improved product presentation with pricing and product detail structures.
- Added payment-ready behavior so the website could support online transactions.
- Adjusted WordPress and WooCommerce settings to fit the printing business workflow.
Implementation Notes
- Kept the product catalog as the core website experience, but extended it into a transaction flow.
- Used WooCommerce because the project needed product management, cart, checkout, and payment support without building the commerce layer from scratch.
- Structured product categories so customers could browse based on printing needs instead of only reading static service pages.
- Balanced catalog content and commerce behavior so the site could still work as a reference point for customers who wanted to ask via WhatsApp.
Outcome
The result is a printing website that no longer functions only as a catalog. InkPrint can present its product range, show prices, support cart and checkout behavior, and act as a more complete e-commerce channel for the business.
